Hey all,

I had phallo with Dr. Crane in 2016. Over the years, I’ve had a rough run with erectile implants, with 5 placed and eventually removed between 2017 and 2021 due to complications. It’s been about 3.5 years since my last removal, and I’m cautiously planning to try again sometime in the next year.

But before the new implant, I’m really hoping to explore whether there’s anything that can be done to improve sensation. My sensation was never perfect, but in the earlier years it was decent, especially in certain spots. After the series of implants and removals, I’ve lost most of it. At this point, sensation is extremely limited and inconsistent, which is a huge bummer and definitely ignites some dysphoria.

Has anyone here had any kind of revision or procedure (nerve grafting, reinnervation, etc) to try to restore or improve sensation? Even if it was experimental or part of a research trial, I’d love to hear about it. I’m feeling pretty desperate to explore any options, and I don’t even know what might be possible.

Thanks in advance for any insight!
