healing a fistula - underwaterdiver - 09-30-2016
Hello all,
I'm looking for tips on healing a fistula. I am about 6-ish weeks out from rff phalloplasty and have leakage at the base as well as a newly opened fistula on the underside of the shaft. I'm very bummed about it as it interferes with voiding while standing. I have applied manuka honey gel at the base which appears to be working (although very slowly). I have purchased a CVS brand and also have been using it in the adhesive form on the fistula on the underside of the shaft. The adhesive of course tapes on and the gel I apply with a q-tip and secure dry gauze in the fold of the base and change it each time I use the restroom after wiping down with a unscented babywipe. If you all have any tips on aiding this healing process, I eagerly await your wisdom lol.
