Bowers, McGinn, Medalie, Meltzer, Reed and Alter are other good surgeons for this procedure. (There are others too... you have many more surgeon options with this procedure.) What kinds of questions do you have? Based on what you need I can see what I can come up with.
#Thanks for your reply.
I will be going to Belgrade and Dr Miro for this (finance and distance).
I would like to know what to expect if I have metoidioplasty with testicular implants. I definitely won't have the urethral extension, due to previous bladder problems. I am undecided about vaginectomy. I was concerned that having it removed would result in lost sexual sensation, as there is a good deal around there. However, penetration is uncomfortable now (post hysterectomy) and I've largely given up on it, and I have heard that sensation is more intense in the phallus with vaginectomy. But, what is it like to have that done but without the urethral extension, where will be the place to pee from? Is the perineum male appearing despite that? And will the testicular implants look as good/be as big if I don't have the vaginectomy?
It's very important that the end result looks as male as possible, for instance to be able to walk around in the sauna without a towel and be passable. I am gay and very uncomfortable with the presence of the female appearance genitally. Transitioned 12 years ago and pass 100% with the exception of the genitals.
So many questions, and I have been unable to get any of the surgeons to send photos of it done in this way, so I am contemplating something unknown, which is not good. I'd like to see some pictures.
To sum up, is there anyone around who has had metoidioplasty and testicular implants but a) without urethral extension and vaginectomy and b) with vaginectomy but still with no urethral extension?
Any help much appreciated. Thankyou. Jack.
