Dr. Andrew Watt, MD is an experienced Microsurgeon specializing in FTM Phalloplasty in San Francisco. Dr. Watt has been performing Gender-Affirming Surgery since he joined the world-renowned Buncke Clinic in 2012. He has performed hundreds of Phalloplasty and related surgeries with his team since and is among the most accomplished Phalloplasty surgeons in the U.S. Dr. Watt is a member of the American Society of Gender Surgeons and the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH).
Dr. Watt offers the following FTM Bottom Surgery procedures:
- Phalloplasty – Radial Forearm Flap (RFF) & Anterolateral Thigh (ALT)
- Glansplasty
- Mons Resection / Pubic Lift
Dr. Watt's Phalloplasty team includes Reconstructive Urologist Dr. Mang Chen. Surgeries are performed at the California Pacific Medical Center.
Surgery Requirements
- Two referrals from qualified mental health professionals.
- A letter from your hormone specialist stating you have been on 12 months of continuous hormones, unless clinically contraindicated.
- 18 years of age or older.
Insurance & Medicaid
Dr. Watt accepts insurance from a number of insurance companies, including Blue Shield, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Cigna, Kaiser and Health Net, as well as Medicaid (Medi-Cal). A cash pay rate can also be requested.
