FTM Bottom Surgery in San Francisco
From Simple Release to Full Metoidioplasty, your surgery can include any combination of Vaginectomy, Urethral Lengthening and Scrotoplasty. Some Metoidioplasty patients may benefit from a Monsplasty, or mons resection, which can help lift the phallus and scrotum to the correct location.
For Phalloplasty, Dr. Jun uses either the forearm (RFF) or thigh (ALT) donor sites. RFF is typically a 2-stage surgery, with implants put in at the second stage. ALT can be a 2- or 3-stage surgery, depending on the vascularity of the donor flap.
Testicular and/or Erectile Implant surgeries can take place 9 months after Metoidioplasty or Phalloplasty with Scrotoplasty. Dr. Jun uses solid silicone testicular implants made by Alpha Aesthetics, and the malleable rod or 3-piece inflatable penile implants.
Dr. Jun operates at St. Francis Memorial Hospital, California Pacific Medical Center – Davies Campus and Austin San Francisco Surgery Center, all in San Francisco.
