Dr stiller in idaho or other options - Lemonfart - 12-03-2019

Hi there! New here. Really experiencing intense chest dysphoria and somehow looking into surgeons alleviates it. I currently have Oregon insurance with Providence PEBB and I've been told (not sure if its true) that all Oregon insurances are required to cover trans care. Cool. Since then ive been looking into top surgery but I feel like I keep running into dead ends with botched surgeons or bad locations.

My roommate told me about dr.stiller in idaho/washington. His chest doesnt look that great to me but I'm not sure if that's a product of him being overweight or the surgeon, and I cant find any pictures online to even see how they generally look! It seems like he does cosmetic surgery and top surgery super lowkey (which is normal) but it almost seems sketchy? Why does he have such little info? He seems so underground idk.

I live in the ontario, oregon area and I know that OSHU has some surgeons too but i havent looked into them yet. Anyone have any recommendations? I also heard that oregon surgeons all require 2 letters and I dont even know where to start with those so i dunno. I guess a lot for one post.

Yes, Oregon Health Plan covers Top Surgery! Smile

OHSU has two surgeons doing Top Surgery, Dr. Berli and Dr. Hansen, but the wait list is about 1.5 years right now. Might be worth getting in line though.

Dr. Thakar in Portland and Dr. Manders in Coos Bay take OHP.

Dr. Stiller is now in Spokane. I could be wrong but I don't think OHP pays for out-of-state providers because there are surgeons in OR who take OHP.

Because you're using insurance, two letters will probably be required.

There are three therapists in Portland who don't charge for letters:
Stacy Sheffler, LPC
Rosanne Marmor, LCSW
Nicole T Prophet, Licensed Professional Counselor intern (online sessions available)

I hope this helps!
