i bind with trans tape essentially 24/7, and the skin in the middle of my chest has been severely stretched and thinned (i can pull it about 2 inches off my chest with 0 pain) and there are scars in the centre off my chest where skin has torn. i think i have lost a bit of feeling in my chest too. i am trying to bind safer, however i am worried that this will make it impossible to get surgery in the future (it will likely be 3+ years until i can even consider surgery) and that it is irreversible. if anyone could tell me if i’m fucked or not i’d really really appreciate it, i don’t think i could live if i didn’t get surgery.
