My name is Raymond - raymond1442 - 06-30-2015

hi I'm 17 years old but I'll be 18 in a few weeks. I've been on testosterone for 7 months and I'm probably getting top surgery soon. (My insurance refuses to do anything until I'm 18 but hopefully it will work out)
I hope to someday be 100% passable male and have no connections to being transgender at all.
The problem is I know nothing about bottom surgery other than it really sucks. Can someone please help me? I don't even care if it's numb or can't be used for sex or whatever I just really need a penis. The pictures I've seen don't look good. They don't look real at all. Is there any surgery that makes one that looks really real??? Or do I have to wait for organ printing technology to develop working penises to get one that looks normal...

FTM bottom surgery does not suck! These are really incredible surgeries! Don't rely on the small sampling of photos you've seen. The majority of guys having these surgeries don't post photos online. Who can blame them when judgements like these are flying around?

You said straight up that you don't know much about these surgeries. So do some research. A good starting point: http://www.metoidioplasty.net/ and http://www.phallo.net/

Microsurgical phalloplasty includes a connection of genital nerves--for full sensation! Can totally be used for sex! Can look really, really good!

If you can wait around for new technologies that may or may not come, cheers to you. Most guys I know going into surgery can't wait decades, especially when the technology for sensation, sex and aesthetics is already here.

Hope this helps, Raymond!
