Hi all - after months of waiting for my consultation after I booked it, I found out my insurance won't cover my insurance. I have to pay out of pocket. I'm working with Cori Agarwal in SLC, UT. Gratefully, she does not cost too much compared to other surgeons ($6,800)
I found out from her booking agent I can book an appointment as early as July 23rd! Which would be amazing.
I am putting money I earn from work into my savings account and have been using social media (instagram because I am not on facebook) to help raise awareness around my fund. Based on the generosity of donations and my income, I now have just over 6,000 in my savings. I just need 800 more to have the total cost covered, so I'm asking for a little more help with donations and sharing my funds.
This amount will be the total amount in my savings! So any little bit counts. I still have a lot of student loan debt, have to pay rent, utilities, food, support trans/queers in the community, etc. So....any little bit will help and whatever surplus I make will go towards other folks' funds so they can afford surgeries, food, rent, etc.
