Hi everyone,

I was in a online group last year and it was brought to my attention that a surgeon was coming to USF in Tampa plastic surgery team in August of 2023. I have been doing research and surfed the internet for information on this surgeon. I can only find her career profile.

I have since lost track of the person in the group I was attending so that is a dead end.

In January 2024, the surgeon finally showed up on the USF roster of Doctors and is taking patients so I immediately called and scheduled an consultation...earliest was August 16 2024.

I was hoping to find some info on her and her procedures offered before the consult, but I am finding nothing on her or her results/procedures.

Any info would be great or advise as to how to approach a new surgeon on the scene, what would be good questions to ask to find out how much knowledge they have of the procedures....I know this sounds silly, but how does one know a Surgeon really knows if there is nothing to research about them?

Thanks,
Chris

How was your consultation with Dr. Weinstein? She did a one-year fellowship in gender surgery with Dr. Loren Schechter. Her urology partner is Dr. Everett and he trained at OHSU. He is the provider doing Metoidioplasty at USF.

Joshua, thanks for the reply, and I feel bad I just now got back to this post until now.

My consult was great, She made me feel very comfortable, she took the time to answer my question and concerns.
I did not get to see her portfolio, but I will be asking for that again. I know only 1 other guy that went to her, through a support group and he was pleased with his results.

Today, Nov 26, I will be visiting Dr Everett for my UL consult. I am not sure what that entails, not even sure what questions I need answered, I will ask him what questions he regularly gets asked and go from there.

I think this is really happening this time, I am afraid to get excited...I`m 61 years old now and been working on getting bottom surgery since i was 52. Something always outside my control would put the brakes on my surgery plans, hopes and wishes.
