I had top surgery in 2016. My right nipple appears to be getting smaller and sometimes it kind of hurts if I touch it. Both sides do this actually. Is this normal so long after surgery? It seems like have always done this and never felt 100% right. I just thought that was he way I was going to be but now I wonder if other people have experienced this.

I can't say that I've heard of this, but I did have a suture come out a couple of years after Top Surgery, which I thought was odd because of how much time had passed. I later found out that I have Gortex non-dissolving permanent sutures. Maybe you also have some kind of permanent suture that is causing the nipple pain? Or perhaps it's hypersensitivity caused by nerve damage? Info here may be relevant: https://www.uofmhealth.org/conditions-tr...st-surgery
