Hey guys! My name is Alex and I’m a 19-year-old from the Uk!
I have set up this GoFundMe to raise money for my upcoming top surgery, which will hopefully be the final part of my medical transition! Currently, NHS waiting lists for top surgery are up to 5 years which would mean that I would not be able to access any treatment until around 2026, putting my life on hold until then
This surgery will undoubtedly be life-altering and mean that I will be able to feel comfortable in my body and live much more authentically as who I really am, which is why I have decided to go private.
Even though I have a job, I have still not been able to earn enough to cover the cost of surgery. In addition to this I do not have the financial support of my family, nor is my student loan enough for me to put some of that money aside towards surgery whilst still having to pay rent and live off.
Any small donation would mean an incredible amount to me as you would be helping me work towards something I have been thinking about for years! If you would also like to, I would be so thankful to anyone who wants to share my page!
