Does anyone know the result of surgery Dr Decio which is Portugal? I would like to indication of surgery using abdominal tissue technique. Do not want to take tissue of the arms or back.

I know of someone who had surgery with Dr. João Deci Ferreira and is pleased with the results, but there aren't a lot of details to be found online.

The final penis size depends on the patient but averages just over 4
inches long by 1.75 inches wide. (7-10 cm). Scars are easily concealed by
underwear or a swimsuit.

Patients can stand to urinate, and sexual intercourse with a partner is
also possible. Erotic sensation and orgasm continues to be provided by the
clitoris preserved at the base of the neophallus. Patients report tactile
sensation in the bottom half of the penis.

Implantation of a malleable erectile prothesis are required, but
inflatable devices are not possible.


Surgery Stages (3 months apart)
- Stage One - Phalloplasty, create penis (using abdomen)
- Stage Two - Vaginectomy, Urethroplasty
- Stage Three - Penile and testes Prothesis Implantation

This three-stage procedure has a higher risk of complications and
reconstruction is long process. There is more healing time after each
stage and each surgery takes 5-7 hours! It can be taxing on the body,
just keep this in mind.

Surgery Costs:
Total for all stages of Kim FTM Phalloplasty is approximately $​15,500 USD.
- Stage One requires seven nights stay in hospital - approx. $​8,000 USD
- Stage Two requires 3-4 nights in hospital - approx. $​3,500 USD
- Stage Three requires 3 nights in hospital - approx. $​4,500 USD

It doesn't require a second surgical site and can later be converted to a
phalloplasty, if needed.

Patients have the ability to urinate while standing, it preserves erotic
sensation and can be combined with hysterectomy. It requires 4 days in
hospital and you need to stay 14 days post op discharge​.

A hysterectomy can be performed at just about any stage. The cost is an additional US$4500 performed Laporoscopically.​

Costal cartilage is from the rib cage; used instead of an erectile device (similar to Fibula Flap.) It's not done in North America, more prevalent in Europe. Dr. Daverio in Germany used to offer this. There's a bit of info, and a few photos, in this article.
